Little Beginnings offers a full-day kindergarten for children who are five years old by Aug. 31st. The kindergarten offers a nurturing environment built on social/emotional learning while following the Massachusetts curriculum frameworks. Each day, the children will receive instruction in literacy, math, science, technology, and social development. The children will work individually, with partners, as well as in small and full group to build their academic and social skills.

The children are offered frequent, meaningful breaks through the day where they may choose to participate in imaginative play, sensory exploration, STEM challenges and gross motor activities. These breaks are a critical component of the children’s day because they provide an opportunity for the children to socialize, encounter authentic problem-solving situations and understand the value of mental breaks. Additionally, these breaks are important to help the children remain focused throughout their academic day.
